FABRICLIVE 83: Logan Sama.

Even the label 'pioneer' seems massively underwhelming when explaining Logan Sama's contribution to Grime. His main biographical feature across the internet references the DJs transition from pirate to mainstream radio, an impressive and inevitable journey that spanned home town pirates and at the time still-primitive Rinse FM, before he bagged a spot on Kiss 100. Logan is the man that collated the famed "War Report" CD, produced the excellent "The Best There Is At What I Do" mixes, gave the scene some of it's greatest moments and sets on his Kiss show all whilst whacking out records via Adamantium and Earth 616.

An introduction is barely needed for the look-to figurehead in a never ending Grime age and his latest venture sees him front FABRICLIVE, a series of mixes that has previously seen the likes of John Peel, Goldie, David Rodigan, DJ Hype and whilst Mumdance dropped hints in his effort it's only the second Grime offer in the series after Elijah and Skilliam.

The unique appeal to listeners will not stop at the watering 24 exclusive instrumentals from as many producers nor the 66 featured MCs, this is in fact the first FABRICLIVE product to be available on vinyl, with a 4xLP option a MUST for all collectors. I'll be posting once more closer to release (25th September) but if you want to be in for an early shout pre-order now from the links below.
